PrairieLand Partners and John Deere continue to look at ways to proactively prevent equipment downtime when you need it the most. We have a team that works behind the scenes monitoring machine health alerts from John Deere for potential concerns.

You may have been contacted this Spring by your local Service Department or the Product Support Team about the potential to better optimize your equipment for performance, a realized adjustment of how you or an employee might be operating the equipment (ex. foot riding clutch pedal potentially increasing maintenance costs) or the potential of an upcoming repair or software update that needs to be scheduled.

These are called predictive alerts; John Deere’s proactive machine monitoring system sends predictive alerts from your equipment to a team that monitors these alerts (with customer’s permission). This allows for early detection of potential downtime through alerts that will be monitored and communicated by your local Service Department or Product Support Team to diagnose equipment remotely and potentially fix issues before they happen.

The solution sometimes is as simple as sending a software update to your machine (machine requires a connection to JD Link or an Operations Center account.) If a service call is required, a technician will arrive to the correct location of equipment by way of driving directions with the right parts to keep your equipment running before a failure occurs.

If you have not heard about machine monitoring or have more questions, please stop by one of your local PrairieLand Partners Service Departments or call the Product Support Team at 620-860-4945.
